Students will dive into the exciting world of 3D animation using industry-standard software. This comprehensive course covers the fundamentals of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation. Young artists will learn to create three-dimensional objects and characters, then bring them to life through movement and storytelling. The class progresses from simple geometric shapes to more complex character models and environments. Students will explore keyframe animation, camera movement, and basic rendering techniques. Projects include creating animated characters, building virtual environments, and producing short animated sequences. Working in VisArts' professional digital studio, students gain hands-on experience with the same tools used by professional animators in film and game industries.
