Forensics Camp introduces middle school students to the fascinating world of forensic science through hands-on investigations and crime scene analysis. Young detectives learn real techniques used by forensic scientists including fingerprint analysis, DNA extraction, blood spatter analysis, trace evidence collection, and forensic anthropology. Campers work together to solve mock crime scenes, collecting and analyzing evidence, forming hypotheses, and presenting their findings. The camp covers the scientific method, proper evidence handling, and how forensic science is used in real criminal investigations. Through engaging activities and experiments, students develop critical thinking, observation skills, and an understanding of how science helps solve crimes. Perfect for aspiring scientists, detectives, and anyone who loves a good mystery.
