Guitar for Beginners is an introductory music camp designed for students with little to no guitar experience. This hands-on course teaches the fundamentals of playing acoustic guitar, including proper posture and hand positioning, basic chord shapes and progressions, strumming patterns and techniques, reading guitar tablature, tuning and basic guitar maintenance, and playing simple songs. Through patient instruction and regular practice, students will build confidence and develop foundational skills. The camp uses a combination of group instruction, individual practice time, and ensemble playing to keep students engaged and motivated. By the end of the week, campers will be able to play several chords, strum basic patterns, and perform simple songs. The supportive environment encourages students to learn at their own pace while enjoying the process of making music. No prior musical experience is required, though students should bring their own acoustic guitar if possible. This camp is perfect for students who have always wanted to learn guitar and are ready to start their musical journey.
