American Doll-New Era combines the beloved American Girl dolls with hands-on STEAM learning for grades 1-3. Campers will explore different historical periods, cultures, and scientific concepts through the lens of American Girl characters and stories. Each day features activities that blend history, science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Students will create period-appropriate crafts, conduct science experiments related to different eras, design and build historical structures, and explore the lives of girls throughout American history. Activities include making colonial crafts, exploring pioneer science, creating Victorian inventions, designing modern technology, and learning about diverse cultures. Campers will also engage in storytelling, character development, and creative projects that bring history to life. The week includes costume days, historical reenactments, and culminates in a showcase where campers present their creations and knowledge. This camp is perfect for American Girl fans who want to explore STEAM subjects through engaging, story-based learning.
