Richmond Young Writers' All-You-Can-Write-Buffet offers middle school writers a smorgasbord of writing experiences across multiple genres and styles. Students sample poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting, journalism, and more, discovering their strengths and preferences as writers. Through daily writing exercises, workshops, and sharing sessions, young authors develop their craft, find their voice, and build confidence in their writing abilities. The camp emphasizes creativity, revision, and the joy of storytelling while providing constructive feedback in a supportive community of fellow writers. Led by experienced writing instructors, this camp helps students explore the full range of creative writing possibilities and develop skills that will serve them in all their writing endeavors.
