Combine art, science, and outdoor exploration in this unique camp that teaches children the art of nature journaling. Campers will spend time outdoors observing plants, insects, birds, and other natural phenomena, then learn to document their discoveries through sketching, writing, and creative expression. This camp develops observation skills, scientific thinking, artistic abilities, and a deeper connection to nature. Students will learn various drawing techniques, how to take field notes, and ways to capture the beauty and details of the natural world. Each camper will create their own nature journal filled with their observations, sketches, and reflections from the week. The camp encourages mindfulness, curiosity, and environmental awareness.
