Music & Songwriting Intensive at Sabot School offers rising 3rd through 5th grade students a full-day immersive experience in music creation and songwriting. This specialty camp guides young musicians through the process of writing, composing, and performing original songs, exploring melody, lyrics, rhythm, and musical expression. Campers learn fundamental music theory concepts, experiment with different instruments and sounds, and develop their unique creative voices. Through collaborative and individual projects, participants gain confidence in musical performance and creative expression while building technical skills. The camp provides a supportive environment for students to take creative risks, share their work, and discover the joy of making music. By the end of the week, campers will have created original compositions and gained valuable experience in the songwriting process.
