Cardboard Creations invites children ages 5-8 to explore the creative possibilities of cardboard as an art material. This multi-week class teaches cutting, folding, connecting, and decorating techniques to transform ordinary cardboard into extraordinary sculptures. Children create animals, buildings, vehicles, and imaginative creatures inspired by three-dimensional artworks in the museum's collection. The class develops fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Each session includes gallery visits to view sculptures and architectural works that inspire the day's project.
