You'll venture outside to discover the beauty of St. Catherine's campus, sketchbook in hand, as you create your very own nature journal filled with your adventures. Learn drawing techniques and bring the outdoors to life with pencil and watercolor—capturing everything from tiny insects to towering trees, colorful flowers to curious critters. Along the way, you'll peek into the journals of famous botanical illustrators and botanists for inspiration, then head back outside to sketch, paint, and write about the amazing plants and animals you encounter. It's part art class, part nature adventure, and all creativity!
