This advanced camp week incorporates more sailing in the Chesapeake Bay and includes both small and big boat sailing (weather permitting). Campers ages 8-14 who have completed intermediate level sailing will sail further distances down the Creek or in the Bay, building on their intermediate skills. This week takes sailing up a notch with more challenging conditions and longer sailing days. Students gain confidence in open water sailing while continuing to refine their technique and decision-making skills. It is highly recommended to register for 2 weeks of sailing camp, including this advanced week, to maximize skill development and water time.
