This introductory course in nature photography covers essential photography concepts and techniques for capturing the natural world. Led by instructor Marina Pierce, participants ages 16 and older will learn about the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), composition principles, and specialized techniques for capturing landscapes, wildlife, and macro shots. Beginners will learn how to get comfortable with their cameras and understand fundamental photography concepts, while more advanced participants can gain innovative ideas and personalized guidance to enhance their skills. The three-hour workshop provides hands-on practice and instruction tailored to each student's skill level. Each student should have a DSLR or mirrorless camera for use during class and a notebook for taking notes. This workshop is perfect for nature enthusiasts, aspiring photographers, and anyone wanting to improve their ability to capture the beauty of the natural environment through photography.
