Welcome to the Cook's Kitchen! Each day, campers will explore culinary flavors and skills like measuring, mixing, and molecular gastronomy. Recipe for Discovery offers a tasty adventure in cooking and kitchen science where children learn about the importance of fresh ingredients and basic food prep techniques, empowering them to commence their cooking careers. Young chefs will discover how cooking is both an art and a science as they prepare simple recipes, learn about nutrition, explore different cuisines, and understand how ingredients transform through cooking. Activities include hands-on food preparation, taste testing, learning kitchen safety, and discovering the chemistry behind baking and cooking. Children will develop math skills through measuring, reading skills through following recipes, and creativity through food presentation. Perfect for the kid who loves helping in the kitchen or experimenting with food and wants to learn more about where food comes from and how to prepare it.
