The Wednesday Platform Tent Overnight is a special add-on option for Camp Timber Ridge day campers who want to experience sleeping away from home for the first time. This one-night sleepover experience allows day campers to stay Wednesday night in a platform tent with their camp friends and counselors. Campers will cook dinner over a campfire, participate in evening activities, sleep in a platform tent, and enjoy breakfast before returning to their regular day camp schedule on Thursday. This is a wonderful introduction to overnight camping for both first-time and experienced day campers who aren't quite ready for a full week of sleepaway camp. The experience builds confidence, independence, and creates special memories with camp friends. Campers are dropped off Wednesday morning with their overnight gear and picked up at regular check-out time on Thursday. This option is available during select weeks of day camp at Camp Timber Ridge.
Drop off Wednesday morning at regular day camp check-in time (7:45-8:45 AM) with overnight gear. Pick up Thursday at regular day camp check-out time (4:30-5:15 PM).
