JC Training is a required Friday/Saturday training program for teens entering 9th grade in the fall up to 18 years of age who want to volunteer as Junior Counselors at Oak Hill Christian Service Camp. This intensive training equips teens with the skills and knowledge needed to help guide campers, take care of the camp facility, and provide spiritual reinforcement throughout the summer camp sessions. The training covers leadership skills, safety protocols, working with children, spiritual mentorship, and practical camp operations. JC Training does not commit participants to volunteer but makes them eligible to serve at camp sessions. After completing training, JCs can reach out to the Deans to request to volunteer at specific camp sessions, and Deans will confirm if spots are available. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills while serving in a meaningful ministry.
