The School of Richmond Ballet Mini Intensive is designed for serious ballet students who are current SRB Lower III students or have a minimum of three years of ballet training. This five-week program provides intensive training in a schedule that accommodates family summer activities, with classes held late afternoon three days per week. Students take a ballet class plus one related dance style each day, rotating through character dance, modern, and theatre dance. The program offers a taste of what a full summer intensive is like while allowing students to maintain their technical progress over the summer. Classes focus on refining technique, building strength and flexibility, and expanding students' versatility across multiple dance styles. This is an excellent stepping stone for students considering more intensive training programs in the future. Students new to SRB should contact the Programs Administrator prior to enrolling to ensure appropriate placement.
