Led by Sabot's two lead kindergarten teacher-researchers, Hope and Amy, this camp is designed to help rising kindergarteners feel comfortable, capable, and excited about their first year of elementary school. Campers will spend time in real classroom spaces, become familiar with campus routines and daily flow, and explore key areas of the school as they build a sense of belonging. Through play-based activities, stories, games, and hands-on projects, children will practice working with peers, following classroom routines, and developing independence. The emphasis is on building familiarity, ease, and joy around school, setting students up for a positive start to kindergarten.
