Practice your survival skills as you learn about maps and compasses, first aid, extreme weather, and plant identification. Compare your survival skills to some of the world's wildest animals, and investigate how much is learned and how much is instinct. This full-day camp teaches practical outdoor skills while exploring how animals survive in the wild. Campers will learn basic navigation, weather awareness, plant identification, and safety skills, then compare these human techniques to the innate abilities of wildlife. Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and animal encounters, students will gain confidence in nature while developing a deeper understanding of animal adaptations and behaviors.
