Legally Blonde The Musical JR. is a fabulously fun, high-energy journey of self-discovery and empowerment, based on the hit Broadway show and film. When Elle Woods is dumped by her boyfriend for not being 'serious' enough, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she proves that brains and beauty can go hand in hand. Along the way, with the help of new friends, Elle learns to outsmart her peers, challenge stereotypes, and discover her true calling. Filled with witty songs, big dance numbers, and an expandable cast of colorful characters, this pink-powered musical is a joyful experience for performers and audiences alike. All students will participate in acting, singing, dancing, and art classes over the course of two weeks, culminating in a final performance for families and friends on the evening of June 26 at Maggie L. Walker Governor's School. This full-day program is designed for rising 5th-9th grade students.
