Spring Break ArtVenture is a one-week art camp timed to coincide with the spring break holiday in area public schools. Young people make art with some of Richmond's most talented professional artists in VisArts' 17 professional studios. The camp includes morning classes (9am-12pm), afternoon classes (1-4pm), and full-day options. Students can choose from a variety of art classes including clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, digital arts, metals, glass, fiber, and more. Working in professional art-making environments with experienced teaching artists, participants create real art using professional materials and equipment. Parents can drop kids off up to a half-hour prior to start time and must pick up promptly at 12pm or 4pm. Sign up for both morning and afternoon classes and your child can bring lunch and eat at VisArts during a supervised lunch hour, free of charge. All materials and supplies are provided.
