Design Your Own Playhouse is an exciting hands-on camp where students become architects and builders. Campers learn basic design principles, measurement, and construction techniques as they plan and build scaled playhouse models. The camp covers the design process from initial sketches to final construction, teaching problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills. Students work with various materials including cardboard, wood, paint, and decorative elements to bring their visions to life. They learn about structural integrity, design aesthetics, and functional space planning. Working both individually and collaboratively, students develop creativity, planning skills, and confidence in their ability to turn ideas into reality. Each camper completes their own playhouse model to take home.
New carpool service available for all students arriving and departing campus.
