This all-day camp is specifically designed to prepare rising kindergarteners for their exciting transition to elementary school. Through play-based learning and age-appropriate activities, children will develop the social, emotional, and academic skills needed for kindergarten success. Activities include early literacy activities, number sense and math readiness, fine motor skill development, social skills practice, following routines, listening skills, and creative play. Campers will practice kindergarten-style activities like circle time, center work, following multi-step directions, and working independently and cooperatively. The camp creates a nurturing environment where children build confidence, make friends, and develop a positive attitude toward school.
