Canoeing at WinShape Camps introduces campers to the peaceful and rewarding experience of paddling through North Georgia's beautiful waterways. Campers learn proper paddling techniques, water safety, canoe handling, and teamwork skills essential for successful navigation. This skill builds confidence on the water while teaching respect for aquatic environments. Participants practice strokes, steering, and maneuvering while enjoying the tranquility of being on the lake. Professional instructors emphasize safety protocols, proper equipment use, and environmental stewardship. Campers work together in pairs or small groups, developing communication and cooperation skills. The activity provides both physical exercise and peaceful moments to appreciate nature. Every session keeps Jesus and His Word at the center, helping campers see God's beauty in creation while building new skills and friendships.
