Lights, camera, action! Join our dynamic Broadcast Journalism Summer Camp and step into the exciting world of news and media! Students will visit WTVR Richmond for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience, getting an insider's look at how real news is made. You'll learn to create your own professional news segments from start to finish—shooting video, mastering editing software, setting up lighting, and reading from a teleprompter like a pro. But that's not all! Campers will also dive into the creative world of advertising by producing their own commercials, learning how to craft compelling messages that capture attention. This hands-on camp is perfect for aspiring reporters, content creators, and anyone who loves storytelling through media. Get ready to find your voice and share your story!
