Performance classes for 6th through 8th graders offer advanced theatre training across multiple disciplines. Musical Theatre Studio focuses on high-energy singing and dancing from favorite shows, teaching several styles of movement and song. Acting & Improv Studio emphasizes creating characters, telling stories, and immersing in roles through play, teaching focus, empathy, and commitment. Dance Studio develops understanding of healthy dance habits, stretching and warm-up techniques, and basic choreographic concepts. Stand-Up Comedy 101 introduces students to stand-up comedy, exploring ways to unlock ideas, practice writing jokes with proper structure, and perform material. Intermediate level classes are available for students who have excelled and would benefit from more rigorous curriculum with advanced performance materials.
