This engaging camp introduces young performers to the fundamentals of singing, dancing, and acting through the beloved story of Mary Poppins. Led by experienced theatre instructors Daniel and Katie Johannesson, campers develop performance skills in a structured and supportive environment. Throughout the week, students receive age-appropriate training in vocal technique, choreography, and acting while building confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Students also enjoy a themed craft activity inspired by the story. The camp includes optional voice auditions on the first day (30-second to 1-minute song segment from a musical), with all roles cast on day one. The week culminates in two exciting final performances of Mary Poppins where participants showcase what they've learned for family and friends. Whether new to theatre or with previous experience, this camp offers a rewarding opportunity to grow as a performer.
