During 'Intro To Fourth Grade,' campers will be introduced to fourth-grade concepts showcased in the coming school year. Academically, we will focus on reading, mathematics, and social-emotional skills. We will study the concepts of story elements, inferencing, summarizing, and predicting from nonfiction texts. During math, campers will dive into multiplication and division math facts, rounding, place value, word problems, adding and subtracting larger numbers, and multiplying using different strategies. Campers will also have opportunities to work together on their social skills as they complete hands-on activities for growth in communication and expression. Free time for outside or nonacademic indoor activities will also be included for campers. All materials will be provided.
