Jr. Physician is a medical science camp for students in grades 1-3 who are interested in becoming doctors or learning about the human body. This hands-on camp introduces young students to anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures through age-appropriate activities and experiments. Campers will learn about different body systems including the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems. Students will practice taking vital signs, learn basic first aid, examine medical tools and equipment, and understand how doctors diagnose and treat patients. The camp includes activities such as building anatomical models, conducting experiments about how the body works, practicing bandaging techniques, and learning about healthy habits. Through role-playing and interactive demonstrations, children will develop an understanding of medical careers while building science knowledge and empathy. This camp is perfect for students who love science and want to help others.
