In this hands-on workshop, participants ages 16 and older will discover the art of wire wrapping as they transform ordinary stemmed glasses into unique works of art. Led by instructor Kathy Grook, students can choose from elegant wine goblets, charming water glasses, or sparkling champagne flutes to decorate. Using wire wrapping techniques, participants will adorn their creations with colorful beads and beautiful sea glass, adding a personal touch that truly shines. Students will leave not only with a stunning set of glasses perfect for toasting the arrival of spring but also with skills to create thoughtful wedding gifts or special occasion presents. The class covers wire wrapping techniques that can be applied to various glass and jewelry projects. All supplies are included in the $50 registration fee. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in wire wrapping, glass decoration, or creating personalized gifts, and offers a creative way to embrace spring and celebrate special occasions in style.
