Little Maker Half Day is a brand new morning camp for PreK-K students (ages 4-5) that introduces young children to making and creating in a condensed format. Running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, this camp provides a hands-on maker space experience where children explore art, engineering, and creativity. Campers will work with various materials including cardboard, fabric, recyclables, simple circuits, and craft supplies to design and build their own creations. The morning schedule includes age-appropriate maker projects that introduce basic concepts like design thinking and problem-solving. Children will create art projects, build simple structures, explore basic circuits with LED lights, and use their imagination to invent new things. This shorter format is ideal for younger children and provides a gentle introduction to maker culture and creative problem-solving. Little Makers will develop creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence while having fun creating and building.
