This specialized preschool lacrosse program at Dogwood Preschool introduces children ages 3-5 to the exciting sport of lacrosse in an age-appropriate, fun format. Running for seven weeks, each 30-minute session focuses on developing fundamental motor skills while introducing basic lacrosse concepts using modified equipment designed for young children. Students will learn to catch, throw, scoop, and cradle using soft, lightweight sticks and balls that are safe for preschoolers. The program emphasizes fun and exploration rather than competition, helping children develop hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills, and confidence. Our experienced instructors create a positive learning environment where every child can succeed at their own pace. This program provides an excellent introduction to lacrosse and helps develop skills that will benefit children in all sports and physical activities.
