Weekend Sailing School Mini-Camps offer two consecutive half-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday for juniors ages 6-13. These weekend camps are perfect for families who want to combine sailing instruction with weekend getaways to Deltaville. Sailors use the club's fleet of Optimist dinghies to learn boat handling, sail trim, navigation, and water safety in the protected waters of Fishing Bay. Classes run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day and include breaks for snacks and hydration. No boat ownership required—FBYC provides all Optimists. This flexible format allows kids to build sailing skills over multiple weekends throughout the summer while also enjoying swimming, exploring, and connecting with nature in the rustic, unplugged environment that makes FBYC special.
