This dynamic camp offers in-depth training in singing, dancing, and acting through the timeless story of Mary Poppins, designed for performers ages 10-18. Led by experienced theatre instructors Daniel and Katie Johannesson, students strengthen their performance skills in a focused and supportive environment. Throughout the week, participants receive structured training in vocal technique, choreography, and character development. The camp requires video auditions submitted by May 1st (30-second to 1-minute song segment from a musical, no backing vocals). Select campers may be invited to callbacks on Saturday, July 11th. All roles are announced on the first day of camp. The week concludes with two final performances of Mary Poppins, allowing students to showcase their growth and hard work for family and friends. Whether seasoned performers or developing their theatrical skills, this camp provides a rewarding opportunity to collaborate, build confidence, and bring a beloved musical to life.
