This is a community service week for St. Catherine's Upper School students. The aim is to help St. Catherine's students engage in meaningful, positive community service. Each week will start with an orientation and overview of the service. There will be three days of service work, ranging from food pantry to environmental service. Students will work at various community organizations throughout Richmond, making a real difference while learning about social issues and community needs. This non-credit program provides valuable service experience and helps students develop empathy, leadership, and civic responsibility. In years past, service sites have included work along the James River, Housing Families First, and Belmont community resources.
Classes meet at St. Catherine's School. Transportation provided to community service sites.
